Desi are doar cateva zile de cand a fost lansat, pe Deviantart au inceput deja sa apara teme pentru Windows 8. Temele modifica (deocamdata) doar interfata Metro din Windows 8 si, la fel ca in cazul temelor pentru Windows 7, pot fi instalate dupa ce faceti cateva modificari in folderul System32.

Cum se instaleaza temele Windows 8
In fiecare tema Windows 8 pe care o descarcati veti gasi un fisier Takeownership. Rulati-l cu drepturi de administrator (click drepta – Run as administrator) apoi mergeti in C:\Windows\System32\ si redenumiti uxtheme.dll in uxtheme.dll.old si shsxs.dll in shsxs.dll.old. Copiati apoi uxtheme.dll si shsxs.dll din folderul cu tema Windows 8 pe care ati descarcat-o in C:\Windows\System32\. Dati restart la computer.
