Yahoo a lansat astazi Yahoo Mail Beta o noua versiune a serviciului sau de email despre care sustine ca se misca cu o viteza de doua ori mai mare si care integreaza un set de aplicatii noi.
Am intrat pe noul Yahoo Mail si intradevar se misca mult mai repede decat versiunea Yahoo Mail anterioara. Au aparut si cateva chestii noi destul de utile: posibilitatea de a conecta conturile de Facebook si Twitter cu Yahoo Mail Beta, o protectie spam imbunatatita precum si posibilitatea de a viziona clipurile YouTube din mesajele primite direct in pagina de Yahoo.
In rest, schimbarile apar mai mult la nivel vizual. Singura chestie schimbata in totalitate in noul Yahoo Mail Beta este Yahoo Messenger care acum apare sub forma unei casute de conversatie (similar cu messenger-ul obisnuit). Din pacate, nici in aceasta versiune nu exista posibilitatea initierii unui apel video din messengerul integrat in browser si nici macar optiunile de formatare a textului existente in varianta actuala Yahoo Mail.

A, inca ceva: cei de la Yahoo recomanda sa utilizati Internet Explorer 8, Firefox 3, Safari 4 sau Chrome 5 pentru a accesa Yahoo Mail Beta. Eu am incercat cu Internet Explorer 9 si nu a mers.
